...and the before and After shots to show the change...in the dusty appearance, the darkening of the paint....

It will not lighten as much as before the gloss....it will stay a bit darker, but this is ok as the aircraft is about 6-8 weeks old tops, and will not have faded or gotten too dirty with such a short lifespan....
 
Great stuff Wayne. Another thing about Luftwaffe paint, possibly because it was semi-matt and, I think, cellulose-synthetic, it didn't seem to fade, chip or wear as much/quick as British colours, and certainly not as quick as U.S.A.A.F. paints, in northern Europe.
