Pea sized up to nickle sidebar hail at my place last evening with some places having golf ball sized hail coming down in the western side of Houston. Our annual April rainy season has begun. The front came through Tx this week and finally made it to SE Texas. The rain started around 8;00 last night. The several thunderstorms arrived at 8:45. The pets were not happy. Neither was the boss since she was asleep. I was watching out the back windows checking for the early sign of the yard flooding. I noticed the lot behind us kept lighting up. It was like several artillery simulators going off for about 15 minutes. I grabbed the phone and checked one of the local
TV channel weather radar. The rain band was sitting on top of us and the edge of the red area was was several feet from our fense line. Lucky it only lasted about 20 minutes. Now it is a light rain. I will be on flood watch for the next couple of days.
The weather is worse on your side of Houston. You have more tornadoes also. And let's not mention the Sharknados.Pea sized up to nickle sidebar hail at my place last evening with some places having golf ball sized hail coming down in the western side of Houston.View attachment 714968
