So, within the margin of error then.
Close enough, at least.

Last week, on Wednesday (29 March), they forecast partly sunny with light winds from the south - what really happened was snow mixed with driving rain and gale force winds out of the south.

But they nailed it: the winds were out of the south...

We had a blast of rain go through here at about 0600 that felt almost like a rain band from a tropical storm. Meanwhile, down in Ft Lauderdale yesterday they had around 22.5 inches of rain in about 7 hours, causing extensive flooding.

Intense but limited area storms are coming through and there is a 30% chance of those tomorrow. Fortunately Saturday is predicted to be sunny and 84F, because the Cocoa Beach Airshow will be underway. The Thunderbirds have been zipping round here between rainstorms this afternoon.

Rain, thunder and lightning, strong cold winds. Partly due to a cyclone up north affecting the west coast all the way down to us.

Rain (70%) is predicted for tomorrow, but Hobby Towne in Baton Rouge says they will have their annual buy/sell flea market rain or shine. Cars usually fill the parking area with trunks (boots) open, full of used goodies for sale.

Just been talking to one of my offsprings in Seattle who asked what the weather was like at present. I said 27C at 10am but will be better later. That got a laugh and the answer that Seattle locals would call 27 a perfect summers day and later far too hot.

Not here....

Remember, I fly controlline models, so the the trip to Hobby Towne could be in the cheer up thread. Five pairs of wheels, three used Fox .35s, one used Fox .19, a handful of wood props (nearly extinct now), assorted new building materials, a gallon of fuel ($30) and packed up just as rain started. All for $187. Wait, I also got a free donut!
