That's ok, we have been a high humidity 95-100 all month (at yours and ours temps its simply hot, does not matter). Next week is supposed to top 100 also. Texas does not have a monopoly on it.

Do fire and smoke count as weather here? We are in a gut-wrenching drought, with smoke. Not real hot, but the place is burning. Our current fire has blown up to something over 2500 acres and taken 7 homes so far. The evacuation alerts go all the way to the airport, which is about 3-4 miles from the fire line. This was the view at the local airport/firebase. The firebombers were starting their takeoff runs in dense smoke and in clear air by liftoff. We have our go bags ready, but no evac warnings yet...

Beautiful cool and cloudy day. Just 80 F today. Perfect day to stain/seal the deck, and then grill some Fajitas.

Very appreciative of this rare cool day in the midwest. Next week its back the high 90s and low 100s.

92 degrees F today with blinding eye-watering forest fire smoke for most of the day. Visibility much less than half a mile at one point. Our fire has tripled in size and is listed as out of control. Fire crews have been lighting controlled check fires all around the airport and fire base. It would be ironic to lose the firebase to a forest fire. The fire seems to be running mostly North, away from town and we have no evacuation alert yet. We will see what morning brings.
