Just turned miserable, cold and wet, the usual stuff for this time of year in my area. It's 4c at the moment, but feels colder due to the damp and sudden change.
No doubt another 5 or 6 months of sh*t weather to come !

Up north of the border (including Hadrians Wall), we have sh*te weather or sh*te weather with an attitude!
I still remember a Thursday nightshift about a year ago, I had in one hour....rain, sleet, snow and thunder around midnight, I nearly parked up my clamp forklift and "f*ck this, I'm outta here!"....

What hit us a couple of days ago:

In marked contrast to last year, we have been untouched by any tropical systems. But due to cold fronts and various other weather condition, by my home gauge we have had 12.5 inches of rain this October. The latest deluge produced 3.4 inches of rain on Sunday night and Monday, so the roads are flooded again, although not as badly as a couple of weeks back.

The Aus Bureau of Meteorology Misinformation has copped a lot of flak this week over its new website and has backed down and gone back to the earlier site for some of its web pages.
The prediction for us was 0-10mm yesterday, we got 42mm and BoM says we got 58mm. It is currently blue skies and no chance of rain in next 4 hours.
