I love the GG1. I went to Montreal with my girlfriend by train. The consist had a GG1 pulling out of Grand Central which was switched out and swapped with a diesel at some point north of Manhattan. The reverse happened southbound. It looks better in Tuscan Red.
My (at the time) girlfriend was not impressed.
Thank you, Raymond Loewy.

Red or green, I don't mind....as long as it has the 5 stripes!

Way back when, when tail fins were still growing, a cousin had the Lionel GG-1. I was transfixed by the pantograph. It was the best antenna I had ever seen!

Pending the introduction of the EP02 class locomotives assembling by the Pafawag plant in Wrocław ( former the Linke-Hofmann factory, Breslau ), eight electric line locomotives were ordered from Swedish Allmanna Svenska Elektriska Aktiebolaget (ASEA) by the Poland. Preliminary negotiations started in 1946 and all locomotives were delivered between 1951 and 1952. They were first designated class E150 (from service numbers, E151 through E158), then E03 and finally, in 1958, EP03.
