One of the FD ( Felix Dzerzhinsky ) class locomotive ( in the case FD 20-2 ) made by the October Revolution Locomotive Factory ( from 1935 - Voroshilovgrad Plant named after the October Revolution ) in Luhansk, Ukraine. They started the production in 1931/1932. The number 820 suggests the Voroshilovgrad Locomotive Plant then . They started assembling the FD 20 locomotives with no. 726 in 1936.

Probably the "Polen" is because of the "P" letter at the front of the benzene-mechanical railcar. Unfortunately it is not the Poland and even not the Polish railcar. It is the Czechoslovak State Railways ( ČSD ) serie M 220.3 vehicle made by the Tatra Kopřivnice factory in 1928/1929. In 1938 the railcars were taken over by the Deutsche Reichsbahn and marked as VT 136 420-422. Judging by the shape it is one of the three railcars of the serie marked as M220.301- M220.303. That's a pity the number seen on the left of the front wagon body is unreadable. I doubt the Deutsche Reichsbahn ever sent the vehicles to Poland. The pic might have been taken somewhere in Czachoslovakia rather.
