We were in pieces when we went down
principal contributor being the turnover of managers, we were unstable, no other word for it. Now, we've got rid of Shepherd and his cronies, freeloaders like Viduka, bad business like Michael Owen and we're all pulling in the same direction. I must admit, I had my doubts concerning bouncing straight back.

Jury's still out on Ashley and Lambias, hopefully they've had their fingers burned and learned something about football in the North-east as a result

No surprises to see the Magpies bounce straight back up; hopefully we'll be on a roll and follow you up next season! :p
