I'm trying to find out where (or if) USAF General Marshall Roth might have donated his personal papers when he died. He's buried at the Air Force Academy but they say he didn't donate papers to them. I haven't found them in the National Archives or Air Force Museum or his old alma mater. I haven't been able to get a reply from any surviving family members. Does anyone happen to know where they might be? I'm particularly interested in his WW2 era materials. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm, that box appears to be records he had collected about someone else, and donated those to the school. But I'll definitely get in touch with them to see. Thanks!

Long shot but try Air Force History Index
If his wartime records were microfilmed AFHRA will have them and probably as a PDF. Some microfilm quality is what is politely called sh one t.

I checked with them and they said they didn't have anything. I know what you mean about the quality of the microfilm records, but I've found that some persistent fiddling can sometimes make even the worst images readable. Here's one example.
