Not far off, it was designed in the 20's though.

I agree that it almost has to be the oldest bomber that saw service during WW II.

I know there were others out there that had thier roots going back a ways. Wonder if this has been discussed already, or are we looking at a new thread for the aviation forum, perhaps?

Depends on how long it takes to find out.
Merging them might be a better option if it goes a while.

BTW-I came up with bupkis with my search too.

i have been flying Migs all ma 12 years active fighter flying against F-16s, Mirages and other migs and what i learned is that use of flaps entirely depends on you and you only as it is you who knows your machine well enough. rule of thumb is that Migs are generally good in turning fights so combat flaps do help but dont get sucked in a situation as if you find a bogey turning infront of you then rest assured his wingman is settling behind you. dont drop your speeds too much that you become a sitting duck or a straffing target on a range for your opponents. there is only on place in a fight that you can use combat flaps and if you pass it dont lower them or you are gone. rule of thumb if you are sure you can shoot him with flaps in 180 turn do it..... if in doubt dont lower them....
