Something seems odd about those exhaust stubs (on the Spitfire 
). Almost like they got the port and starboard ones reversed. Seems to me they should point down, not up, or am I seeing things?

I was thinking the same (about the exhaust stubs, not the girl). In fact, it was the first thing I noticed.
Possibly deliberate, to lessen exhaust staining ? Never seen it done before though.
