Thanks for the interest guys and just to round off the bush walk.........................but before we do, Andy, a yabby is a fresh water cay fish found in most rain and fresh water dams scattered around the bush properties and are just yummy.

Thanks for popping in folks.

So enough of the Aussie stuff, for the moment. Today we start off in Monte Carlo, it's breakfast time and the sun is just coming up over the Med.

We then head out along the coast on a visit to Nice.

The Russian Orthodox church in Nice.

Walking the streets.

The market.

Thanks for looking bin folks. After our coach trip to Nice we returned to Monte Carlo, collected our gear and were driven out to Arles where we boarded a river cruse which was taking us up the River Rhone. We remained berthed in Arles overnight and did a shore tour the following morning.

Arles boasts one of the best preserved Roman Colosseums in Europe. Though nothing in size to the one in Rome, it's state of preservation is amazing and is still used today for many events including bull fights.

I was particularly intrigued with the pigeon roosting on the head of the Madonna.

Just one of the many impressive entry's to the churches in this part of the world.

If you're a Van Gogh fan you may recognise these next two pictures.

There was also a bit of a market going on and this spice stall caught my eye.
