You mean the Decoration? as in my Avatar...

This represents the award of the "Oak Leaves" to the "Knight's Cross" after the pilots 60th Victory. The background Roundel and Red Star are representative of the nationality of victories over British and Russian aircraft, while the bars below are of victories after the Oak leaves award, to the present.

How do you get the access panels [see the tail on the last pic] to stand
out so well ? Also on the next to last pic, the access for the wing guns.

It is called a wash, Charles.It is a kind of very very diluted black,brown, grey etc... paint.To be honest it is a dirty thinner only which is used for applying to the engraved panel lines.Used with a technique named pre-shading, gives the effect.Unless I'm wrong.
