I wonder if that camo scheme actually did anything.

the deck camo was supposed to be useful when the carrier was moored near land rather than at sea...

Very nicely executed Wayne, she looks impressive.

Nice detailing work overall.
Were you tempted to add a little crew of photo etched figures? (I've used them before, you can bend the arms and legs to animate them, thicken them up with paint, and paint the basic uniform colousr and cap, dots of flesh for face and hands, and black boots; a few can add an extra bit of life to a ship, particularly a carrier).

Incidentally I'll be dabbling in 1:350 next year, and some of the figures coming out in that scale are very well sculpted.
