What it may lack in refined detail...................it makes up for in panache.

Were you tempted to add a little crew of photo etched figures? (I've used them before, you can bend the arms and legs to animate them, thicken them up with paint, and paint the basic uniform colousr and cap, dots of flesh for face and hands, and black boots; a few can add an extra bit of life to a ship, particularly a carrier).

Incidentally I'll be dabbling in 1:350 next year, and some of the figures coming out in that scale are very well sculpted.

Weren't available to me when I built it....but don't think I will be tempted at this stage....for future builds..

Yeah that fact really does hit you when you examine the model.

A lot of work goes into them....lots of very small fiddly bits and I don't superdetail them like some I have seen!
