I'll start off by saying my coat is already on, but add some cheese and you can have a grilled cheese/pressed ham/panini sandwich....
I'm thinking this thread may get highjacked and turn the way of that Roadking01 color picture thread....
I think it's quite obvious what annoyed me today..,

Sometimes reading some "mind-blowing" comments in Instagram and newly, discord, from non-iranian and non Muslims, and I wonder "why?"...

I don't need hearing aids yet so quite pleased about that.
One friend has replaced his $5500 hearing aids with Apple ear buds and an Apple phone app because the hearing aids kept coming apart and then he would have to crawl around looking for the part that went over the ear. Because he usually could not feel it fall off that was a problem that meant having to feel that the two halves were connected at all times.
He finds the Apple buds less comfortable but if one falls out he can find it using another app on the phone and of course it is so much larger and easier to find.
Hearing wise he finds the Apple setup almost as good.

Yeah. They think they are hard done by when if fact they have it far too easy compared to living in countries like Iran with its oppression and Papua New Guinea with its poverty and mindless violence. For example the three State of Origin football matches in Australia always cause deaths among rioting supporters in PNG.

What didn't annoy me today?!
Work is still slow, the boss wants to reprice everything, so I got interrogated about how long it takes to make my products. One piece or a large run?
I can fill a rack (250 pcs) in about an hour and a half. A small order is less efficient because of set up and run times. We have this conversation several times a year. The answer is always the same.

I was having a discussion with my boss years ago. I was trying to explain a problem with his plan. It got to a point where I turned my chair and started explaining it to the wall.
"Walk a mile in my shoes" doesn't work very well when Boss Bigfoot needs size 13 double wides.

The worst bosses are the ones who think that piling more manpower on a small job will get it finished faster - makes me think they think 9 guys and one woman can produce a baby in a month.

Had a new student join my class straight from another country. Despite my insistence he be placed with the rest of my class in his electives , he was placed in a different class without any of my other students. Today after class a bunch of those kids decided to beat on him because he wouldn't give them his backpack and didn't speak English. I don't think I have ever been more mad in my life. The principal took care of it, but that just burns my hair!

I was told that the beating incident that happened yesterday had been resolved. Imagine my boil point today when the victim says, "There are three of the boys who beat me". In school. Not suspended. No. They were following him to see if they could catch him alone. They saw me and left. I was escorting this boy from class to class all day. After school they followed him. I stayed with him the entire time until his uncle came to get him.They saw I wasn't leaving and left.

You are right. He's in 6th grade, but he's so small and a gentle boy. He says he's shocked by the behavior and never thought it would be like it has been so far. We will get it resolved.This sort of thing makes my blood boil, that young lad your helping will always be looking over his shoulder.
I can't stand bullies. Somehow I have a feeling these three kids you talk of, do not have much of a home-life. That and they lack decent role models at home to look up to.
