If I can stand, I can work. My wife is mad because she is supposed to start her new job next week.
I work from home, I work when I'm sick. My flu two weeks ago was so bad I could not even walk to my home office.
You should not work when you are really sick.
My youngest son has the flue, it started on Friday a week ago, now almost 1.5 week later, he still has fever and nausea. Of course this all happens during exam week, so when he's better he will have to catch up again. Poor kid.

But if I an able to, I will. This is the United States, not Europe. Sick days are limited. No work, no pay.

I hear you. More reason for me to stay in Europe. On the other hand, I've been guilty of logging into the company's network while lying in bed with a fever as well...

I trust all you good folk and your families recover soon, this virus bug that is hopping from country to country can be quite debilitating and in some cases it can take more than a couple of weeks to fully recover. I have been there and know, so you all take care and get well soon.

that totally sucks, glad you got it back in one piece.
Not sure if it helps but a guy I know in California has a three month old Redeye Hellcat that he street races, he took it to Irwindale raceway on an open track night, got about 10 feet off the line and blew the differential all to hell. Had it towed to the Dodge dealer, and the exact same thing happened to him, while waiting on parts, thieves broke the passengers side rear window out, trashed the dash, got it started and the only thing that saved it was of course the car can't move with the blown differential.
Hope they get your wife's car up and running soon, I believe car thieves should be treated like horse thieves of old...
