Watching football today, Chiefs game.
Then reading the news from SF, have to keep in the loop.
49ers Faithful, remembering Russ Francis and all the flying
experiences I had in his planes..... Life goes on don't it.
Some knew him as a prick, I never tried to agitate him.
Several round trips and weekends at air shows in the Mustang.
A couple of times in his 400hp Black as Stearman, 4 ailerons!!!
A tragic death too soon. He did love life, and pushed it's limits.
I think he would have relished the team these last couple of years.
CMC, Kittle, Purdy, Jones. But life does go on. It seems to creep, then BANG.
My Bro In Law asks Annie "love, have you thought maybe this will be the New Normal"?
But I just finished a set of 1/24th scale Clive Caldwell Spitfire decals. Bitchin they are.

This machine was giving me fits all morning. Parts kept getting stuck, and then, because I was at the other end catching the finished parts, the next piece or two would slam into the stuck part, causing a mess. Not every part. Just enough that It would lull you into thinking everything was working. And then - Whammo!
Turns out there was a small nick in the lower edge of the feed chute to the next section. If the metal flexed down, it caught the nick.
A little TLC with a pliers and file and all is well.
