One of the tradies working next door offered to help trim some Lavender plants for us.
Neither me or my wife are fit enough to wield a trimmer around.
So we got to chatting and his wife has been to S.F. and liked the clam chowder at the warf.
He is just too anxious to try some, of e=which I have a great simple recipe.
You would think, like many Americon things it would be available here............ nada.
Snow's minced clams, nope. Decent hat dogs, nope. Old fashioned donuts, nope.
I was planning on making some for him for being a decent bloke.
May have to settle for a Philly cheese sanger.
But do you think I could find a good Hogie bun, nope!
I will have to settle for a hard crust version, just not the same.
I keep getting reminded I am on an Island in the South Pacific.
