My 93 Grand Cherokee has a 98 CD player in it with with equalizer and it's all factory. If you pay attention to the seller ratings you don't have much to worry about. They police there sellers rather well.

lol still I'll steer clear of ebay unless I'm absolutely desperate for something like....a flight yoke from an airliner or throttle quadrant. lol

You get what you pay for...cheap is just that...cheap.

A quality CD player (like Kenwood, etc) can be had for 150 bucks or so :thumbright:

And what do ya' mean old, an 8-track tape deck is old...lmao

Still Driving my 1987 Mazda long bed Pick up, which I bought new in Dec 1986. Recently had the bumper and grille painted,
and a boo-boo on the hood primed. It will probably be the last car I ever own. Got a 166,000 + on the odometer.

actually, the stereo is the ONLY drawback. this sucker is packed with all kinds of bells and whistles. power windows, power driver seat, AC, power mirrors, keyless entry. I think I'll have this car for a very long time :)

heh, my father had that same truck when he bought it new in the '80s. the only difference was the extended cab for passengers and it was red. it had died somewhere in the 2000s

I'd like to have one of those John, I think they'd be a blast, especially on the roads around here.:thumbright:

Thanks Aaron, they are great fun. I had a mark2 Escort 2.1 that I used to compete in rallies and other speed events in the '80's. I thought that car handled well, but my S is like its on rails. I'm looking at various improvements but, I have yet to feel the absolute need for more power.

I like your first car btw. Very good condition and smart looking motor.
Cheers

Here is a new pic of my joy (yeah I am a Jeep freak...;). I blacked out the license plate, for some reason I don't care to post things like that on the internet.
