Saw SRV IN '85 @ Bumbershoot. Maybe I'm just old, but I found her comment on the late great Albert Collins being "Sweaty Man" a bit disrespectful. Oh well, what comes around goes around. Now I'm wondering how she'd react to Hendrix playing Machine Gun or Robin Trower's Bridge of Sighs.

I've been a big band fan since I was a kid playing my mom's old 78's but never really listened to jazz from later periods until now. I picked up Miles Davis, Kind of Blue CD and I think I'm hooked.

This is an ALTERNATE version, but it will give you an idea of what this classic album is like, if you're not familiar with it.....
