Was just watching George's Memorial concert on PBS last night. Great show.
I never knew George wrote this one. Love that song.

He wrote a lot of their gems: the above, "Taxman, "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun", of course, "Old Brown Shoe", "Guitar Gently Weeps", and so on.

Aside from the obvious secondary and tertiary influence, he wasn't so much an influence on my playing, but he's a big influence on my songwriting, with his penchant for chromatic internal lines in harmonies, and his use of tasteful dissonance.

Steven Wilson - The Overview. Am halfway through the first listen. 2 tracks - 23 and 19 minutes. So far, am really loving it - it's challenging, in a good way. The guy is a huge talent
