Today it was announced that Israel and Hammas have so far agreed to end the fighting in Gaza. They have agreed to exchange captives shortly, maybe as soon as Saturday. This is great news as far as it goes.
What worries me is both the UN and a group from the UK, France, and Germany want to run the provisional Gaza government. Neither of these groups have lifted a finger to either prevent the attack on Israel by Hammas or seriously worked to end the fighting. So I hope neither will have any role running Gaza.

While I am not in agreement with you, I do respect your point.
We will both just have to wait to see how the 20 point plan President Trump put forward is implemented.

After cutting the grass, I stood looking at the sky admiring excellent flying weather, just a few clouds, when I heard a round engine. I always try to see the round engine birds and finally found the faint sound source. A biplane out joyriding, just flying around but much too far away to ident but most likely PT-17. Watched as long as I could before he disappeared.
 
Radials sound sweetest.
 
Today, two orders arrived. One is the Hasegawa 1/72 scale P1Y1 Ginga (Frances) bomber. The other has Atlantis box scale Lockheed P2V-7 Neptune. My GF's uncle flew in that Squadron in Antarctica. The box also has Kadee 70 and 100 ton sprung trucks for my model railroad. I am almost done installing sprung trucks on all of my freight cars.
 
Back (for a while) from my trip to the Wright-Patterson Air Force Muesum. Even though it was closed, wife and I had a great time biking; running; eating; and drinking. When I first mentioned this trip, Zippythehog offered some dining tips and he delivered. The Stone House Tavern was having a catered affair, but the pork schnitzel was terrific. Thanks!!! The section of the Ohio to Erie trail was the flattest; straightest trail I've ever been on. 30 feet of elevation in 36 miles.

Got to do a 5K race on the Akron-Canton airport runway and it had a small museum with about 30 planes; mostly jets.

And an integral part of any vacation; drinking. This was a halfway point on the trail called Lock 15 Brewery in Akron.
 
I'm glad you got to enjoy the state despite the shutdown.
If you get to the north coast, Put-in-Bay is a nice day trip. Also the Liberty Air Museum has a flying Ford Trimotor and B-25. And Griffing Flying Service will happily fly you from Port Clinton to Put-in-Bay.
