Two movies.
First was "Madame Web".
Dakota Johnson is always nice to look at, but the poor ratings of this movie are quite deserved.
By the time I finished watching, I was wondering what was the point other than it had made the news and I wanted to know what folks were talking about. It is on Netflix.
The second movie was "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot".
I got a bit bored part way through, so I haven't finished it yet. Yes, I know the ending.

I just finished watching The Longest Day for -- yes -- the first time. Not the best war movie I've seen, and positively corny at spots, but for its era not bad at all.

My dad took me to the premiere of The Longest Day (at a theater on Long Island 
). The U.S. Army was there. Okay, probably a reserve unit and VFW. There were some military vehicles but what I remember was the Honest John missile and launch vehicle.
