Mask the spinner just like you would if you airbrushed it or freehand it. While the latter doesn't look quite as good, you can get pretty dang close. Cutting Edge makes spiral masks that supposedly work pretty good. You might want to try those too.
Maybe put the spinner on a small drill or something and then have turn at the slowest speed, moving the brush slowly accordingly to make the spiral....I don't know...
