The other day I looked for a weathering template for painting preshaded blotches. Over 60 bucks for one template. 15 bucks on US Amazon. Then today I see this:



Yes, that's for one bottle but at least it's free shipping

Our Canuck Buck hasn't changed relative to the US more than a few cents in the last 5 years so WTF is going on here?

Ouch!!!! I've never purchased anything off Amazon as I usually find what I want on eBay for a lot cheaper but these prices are crazy

Me neither. I was just checking it as I was too lazy to go down to the basement to find out what XF number Tamiya's silver was. The template was a shock and I was just shopping around.

Just checked on the weathering template again and now it's 28.

Send both those screen shots to jeff@amazon.com and see what happens. It may well be gouging by the vendor using Amazon, not Amazon itself. If you look on both Amazon and Fleabay you will often find the exact same photo used by multiple retailers and the prices covering a very wide spectrum.

I suggested earlier that the problem may be the vendor rather than Amazon.

On the other hand here is the same vendor selling the same publication through two competitors of Amazon's in the book field.

Thank you. I was not aware of that.

That being the case IF I could have bought the book thru Amazon it would have cost A$24 as I am a prime member.
