I'd like you all to meet Gorgena a Golden Orb Weaver who has been keeping us company for several month now. She was quite plump and did disappear a while back, just for a few days. Then returned looking much slimmer. We figured she went away to have her babies.

This morning was very frosty with a big mist hanging about. The web came out quite well.

That reminds me of when my wife and I first got married. There was a spider that that built a web in the upper corner of the shower stall and for some reason we left it be. My wife started calling it "Charlotte" and it was like a pet that whole summer.

Just a little update, Gorgena is still with us end seemingly enduring the morning frosts and I do believe the larder has been reduced a little.

I had a ready supply of spider snack sized protein for it. However, I found it frozen in ice one really cold morning.
