actually, first I applied a coat of flat white. got that advice from a guy in the hobby shop. worked VERY well
 
haa haa haa! very rich, guys! now, back to modeling!

I've started on the P-40. I've attached the flaps to the bottom half of the wings, assembled the tail wheel, the nose section and began painting the cockpit. sadly Revell doesn't give me much to work with in the cockpit. the panel isn't even realistic, and I don't wanna pay a buttload for replacement cockpit parts, so i guess this'll have to do. can anyone provid eme with color photos of a P-40B cockpit?
