Which ones for the main landing gear, those to the left or right?

Actually you should have painted these wheel hubs and tyres separately. And then assembled them together with already painted legs. Unless these are the one-piece casted parts.

I was thinking about that, but then looking at all the fiddly bits beside the wheel hubs, I thought "f*ck it" I'll glue it all with them tiny bits and paint it all á la 1/35 armour style!
I wonder how Eduard thought with the nose gear, it's near enough just a butt joint, no hole or anything, not very secure if you ask me! 🤨🤔

Tossed a wee bit of primer on #6913 yesterday, see what tomorrow brings....

Btw., is it just me, or does someone else at times when reading and checking scale plans, think to themselves "that can't be right"?
I did that earlier flicking through the Valiant book on the P-38 Lightning, and getting to the aforementioned scale plans I thought...."that can't be right, that's got to be 1/32!"....😆😂

Whirly wingy things? 🤨🤔😆😂

Was it silver that they were painted in, or aluminium?

Initially MiG-21 PF and PFM weren't painted at all but just protected with a clear gloss coat. During overhauling these could be coated with either a special paint that was silver but of a pearl tone or later with the silver-aluminium coat.
