I have found that the panel washes don't work well on acrylics. The paint needs to be enamel of a varnish clear coat. Instead of a capillary action concentrating it in groves and along ridges, it soaks into the paint and gives a blotchy stain so the Testors should be fine.

A little project I have been working on has a small micro motor installed in the crankcase of the kit motor.The motor requires 4.5v and the battery supply is two Cr2025 batteries @6v's.It will be going with me to a small IPMS meet this Saturday along with some other kits.
