Good stuff Terry. I'm scratchbuilding the floor and windows, but taking a shortcut on the furnishings :)

There's a lot of great model railway stuff these days.
I've long wanted to build a dioramic model railway, based on late 1940's to maybe mid 1950's, set "somewhere in eastern England", with a country station and small market town. The terrain and architecture would be the main focus, although the railway element would, off course, be detailed and realistic.
I've recently being looking at kits, rolling stock, accessories etc, but unless I have a big lottery win (would need a bigger house !), and probably an extra 10 year lifespan, it's unlikely to happen !

Geo, there are actually tiny LED kits for stoves, fire places, welding machines etc, and they look very realistic !

I picked up this 1/48 Monogram kit of the Panther F9F-5 at the IPMS meet for 10/15 bucks the molds say 1990 and the decal are 2001 the stencils were giving way some.I have about 4hrs building and about 3 hrs on the decals thus far a quick build giving the Scharnhorst a rest.I have the ICM Lilly in the stash thinking about the GB going on now. ;)

Nice, I'm been keeping an eye out for Harry Brubaker's Panther kit. I'm working on the Monogram SBD. I last built it when I was around 14 in the Mid 70's. I almost wasn't going to start it, the kit is so dated, but a modeler on the Britmodeller site finished one, and it inspired me to build.

Very nice model and with those unbelievable working hours, you're a champ!
I'm building 2 of those (a short and a long-nosed versions) since years - like all my models, they are unfinished yet.
Just out of curiosity: what colour did you use for the wheel wells. (IMHO there are 3 choices).
Cheers!
