Sweet!
Went to the pharmacy and asked for 200 1ml syringes, perfect for mixing paint. The pharmacist asked if I was diabetic and I said no, I use them to mix paint. The look she gave me and the look of people on the street that walked by me carrying a clear bag full of syringes was pretty funnyI'm liking Vallejo more and more. I use the paint unthined in a Neo Iwata. The squirt bottle is more friendly than Tamiya's bottle, for me there is a lot less waste. I use disposable eye droppers with Tamiya.

Oh I want to go to the Zoo. When I was at Grissom my best friend was from Benton Harbor and I've been to Kalamazoo but didn't know about the zoo back than, 85-89. I so want to go now. They have the only xf-54 amongst many others.Being the 3rd Saturday of the month, my work bench went to the Kalamazoo Aviation Museum (Air Zoo) where several of us from the Kalamazoo Scale Modelers worked on various models. I worked on the Hasegawa 1/72 Emily flying boat and a 1/24 scale Revell Tommy Ivo 4 engine dragster, The Showboat. Both are kits I have had before. Sadly the Emily got destroyed at home while I was serving in the USAF in then West Germany. The dragster I had as a kid and never could finish it Right now I am assembling the exhaust headers for the 4 engines. Two assemblies are done only 6 more to go! Thankfully Revell includes a jig for these assemblies.

If I ever get up that way again I will. But I'm allergic to theI was stationed at Grissom AFB from 1977 to 1980. I was part of the 1915 Comm Sqdn.
I am a member of the Air Zoo. Let me know, I would be happy to show you around.
The Air Zoo has the only SR-71B, XP-55 Ascender, and the only know piece if the WWII Light Cruiser USS Juneau above water. That was the ship the 5 Sullivan brothers died on.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but Grissom wasn't all that cold. I weathered -30 at Griffiss AFB, NY as I walked the 1.5 miles to work. I had the parka and I was comfortable. Ellsworth AFB, SD was as cold.If I ever get up that way again I will. But I'm allergic to the. Raised in the Cascades I thought I knew wat cold was until I got to Grissom.
Oh no no no I won't go there no more!
I'm tired of freezing to death!
Oh no thank you please, it only makes me sneeze and than it makes it hard to find the door.
But I could used detailed photos of the XP-55!
I bought 200 disposable pipettes. They work fine for Tamiya paints, but there is waste. I'm finding the cost of paint can be higher than the cost of the model. The thought of changing the iconic Tamiya paint packaging to a squirt bottle like Vallejo or MM Paint is probably sacrilege is the halls of Tamiya Inc. The Tamiya bottles are nice when using a brush, the concave inner lid has enough paint to work from, but when airbrushing, there's more waste.Went to the pharmacy and asked for 200 1ml syringes, perfect for mixing paint. The next build is a little re-connection to my youth the Monogram B-58 Hustler 1/48.I wanted to build it as a wheels up crate but the kit doors do not look like they will suffice for I wanted to make it a hanger. The copit will paint some basic dry brushing but that's about it since it is closed and tight.I will be focusing on the external paint finish lots of smoothing of the surfaces.
