Started New Airfix B-17G
Hesitations to order it because I still owned 3...Hasegawa , Academy and Revell...
But definitely the best one
Still on interior detailling, I understood reality is not just "interior Green"
pattern...
Far from that...

A break from the Sharnhorst was needed so an 88 Flak hit the table.

Nice! The Tamiya kit I presume?
I built their original kit in the '80s, and remember my dad laughing at the comment in the instructions saying to make your gun barrel look as beautiful as possible
(I do think it is a beautiful piece of artllery!)

Well, I think I have had enough of this Airfix P-51 kit and all
it's problematic fits, both in the kit and my own fits!
The plastic is soooo thickkkk! Too many pieces go together
and interlock. I think even my 1/32 P-40 plastic is thinner.
Why the made the vert stab separate I have no idea.
Just to F'k with our feeble minds? Yes!!!! To convince us we
shoulda bought a Tamiya me thinks!!!!!!
Building this one as "Stinky" sure fits the Bill!

Get the Tamiya or the Eduard.

Yes and that wording is still in there they amended step#3/10

Bill look for the Eduard "Overtrees", they give you just the plastic and nothing else. Download the instructions if you don't already have them and can save you a bundle.
