I think the safe parking distance would be outside Ye Olde King's Head, Sutton, Cheshire, watching on "LiveCam", whilst imbibing a pint or two at 1944 prices !
I remember as a very young lad (still at school) when a pint of rough cut cider only cost 2d and me sitting supping outside Ye Olde Poppe Inn, Tatworth, Somerset with the old country gents.:lol:

Here's said Olde King's Head, back in 2011, when Vic visited. Note dubious characters sitting outside............

All the prepainting construction done, just need to fill some seams. The only modification I made was to drill out the holes in the muzzle brake, the rest is OOB.

The tank itself is a little simplified, but not bad. The only real letdown is in the missing halves of the road wheel bogies (sitting in mid air when glued in) and the continuous line of the track teeth, which should be individual teeth on the link edges.
...this has fulfilled it's title of 'Starter kit' however, as I've ordered a decent 3D printed Firefly VC to make a 'proper' one, and a set of kiwi markings to put on both :)

I made a floor, and very rough representations of furniture, signal levers etc, and I think I added the upstairs windows using clear cellophane (modelling materials were very basic back then, and I was only 10 years old !).

Yep, good practice and experience Evan.
