I have read it has issues with wheel bays and radome shape, but none of that bothers me, it looks like an Su-27, so good enough for me.

Spitty (Airfix, new tool) filled and sanded. Once radiators are painted, they can be attached, and external painting can begin.
The second TA-4 has wings attached now too. Both still need filling and sanding yet (both 1:72 Hasegawa TA-4Js).

Note, the second TA-4 has replacement wing slats, as I bought it second-hand and they had been removed and discarded. I cut a set off from an Italeri A-4E I was given, with deformed wings and lots of excess glue. That is now a parts donor, but I still wanted to make an Israeli A-4E from it, so I grafted the head onto an Italeri A-4M, which will be suitably modified.(Join to be filled and sanded yet)

Spent all day assembling and fitting major components.

Wing leading edges are 2 parts glued together then fitted, seemed a bit unnecessary as they cant be posed drooped anyway.
Fins just resting in place for now, as i will paint them separately then fit them after to make life easier when painting the engine bays.
