I'm working on Tamiya's Brewster Buffalo. I have been playing with Silhouette Studio. I scanned the mask Tamiya provided with the kit and made a cutting file, then cut Oramask 810 on the cutter. It made the Buffalo's greenhouse manageable.

I didn't understand half of that post (digital caveman), but turned out great!
I used to have that kit too, but mine never came with the mask. I did buy it second-hand though, so maybe it was lost or used by the previous owner.

All the basic painting and decals are done. I took the opportunity when painting the wheels to add some exhaust stain. Now that it's done, I'll clear coat it on Saturday. Then I'll break out the oil wash, dry brushing, panel lining, mud on the undercarriage, chipping, .... wait, I can't do that. This is always the point that separates me from the true builders. The odds of messing something up after a month of work is frightening. I'll do some panel line in the elevators and see what else I can do.

I may repaint the upper struts the same as the wing struts depending on looking at period photos again. The seat turned out rather nice, I could do seatbelts too. Rigging is on the table, it's stretched sprue.

Well work continues onto a light weathering effect.I am definitely on the fence about the ASK decals both roundels on the sides if handled to much are peeling some?I put several coats of future over the decals and it still occurred I fixed it but still

I got a ongoing heller komet tractor with the komet from hobby boss (I thought I had the model in the box when I got it but nope, just the tractor), a revell fw 190 A8 at 1/72 scale, I'm surprised people have trouble with this one, the real issue for me are the wings/fuselage join and revell forcing a close canopy , a heller bloch 210 and a bunch of other ongoing stuff. So far, the last ww2 kits I got are the new eduard spitfire mk V (Ihaven't got a raf kit in forever).

Got that Eduard Spit V (early) myself not long ago- beautiful kit! Note most sprues, excluding wings, are the same as in the Mk.I boxings. That means LOTS of spare parts for either version depending on which you buy.

IBG are due to release the Mk.V family in 1:72 too in the not too distant future. Judging by their MK.I/II kits I have, that should be even better!
