This is a knight pen holder I printed for a birthday present. Colours are a bit unusual because it is to represent
an Australian football league team. It's about 120mm scale and is painted in water based acrylics. The silvery
black armour is a mix of black and iridescent medium for acrylics. This stuff can be added to any acrylic colour
so it's more versatile - beats buying tubes of metallic that end up sitting nearly full for the rest of whatever.

Not bad fun and looks better live than it does in these pics.

Yes. Every little imperfection is revealed it seems. Even though I didn't use zoom the pictures are still nearly twice the size of
the actual figure. That doesn't help. At least it's an easy one to do as there are no hands or face to paint - a good reason to
paint knights.
 
Moving along pretty well with the 152.Geo sent me some info along with colors and patterns the other night to weras the plane looked to be paint overall RLM82 but you see the RLM82 poking through the the RLM81 up to the front wind screen then things change...so I did that.You will also note that the scheme is different from the box art was that just #1 for #3 is close to my#9 with the cowl area filled in a tad more in RLM81...now Geo going to look.:DI give it another week and she will be done. ;)

Notice the lack of a clear demarcation line on the leading edge between the upper blue and the Insignia White. It looks as though the transition from peacetime "Yellow Wings" to wartime camouflage was done hurriedly in the field. Any fine stenciling, like "Hatch" or "Fuel," appears to have been simply painted over. Even the torpedo looks like a grimy Insignia White, stained by bomb carts and greasy handling. It feels like there's no "wrong" way to do this! Any suggestions are welcome. After this one, a Hasegawa Val I purchased on eBay, for $17, I think a bargain.

I got one of those somewhere in My stash I built one like it with my grandfather way way back when I'm not going to give the date here or anything but 😂 I've always loved that model and yes it's a terrible plane and everything but you cannot deny the beauty of that model with those colors the silver were the red and the yellow and all of that was just incredible
