Thanks guys. Took the family into Brisbane yesterday so I thought I would share some pictures. We started off at the kids favourite spot South Bank, which is located on the Southern side of the Brisbane River. It truly is a beautiful spot.

We then crossed over the Goodwill bridge and into the CBD. Sorry for the photos, it was a pretty gloomy looking day at times.

Once across the river we followed the Botanic gardens bikeway which follows the river up to the Botanical gardens. It's great to see mangroves and nature still in existence in the middle of a major city.

Thanks guys. Following the river up further towards the famous Story Bridge which was opened in 1940. Across the river at the cliffs is the Suburb of Kangaroo point.

We then turned left off the pathway into the Botanic gardens for a quick look.

Exiting the gardens you are greeted by Parliament house which was built in 1867.

There are some beautiful old buildings to be found along George street.

Then it was onto Charlotte street for pancakes for lunch - why the hell not! This building happens to be an old church.
