always liked the yaks...just the canopy seems so low of a profile that i think it would have been hard to see out of...its probably an optical illusion
 
Hi!
I was just looking at the fantastic pics and noticed in photo 9 being struck by the small port in the middle of the '3' of 36. This is the external battery socket and this EXACT port is used on my boss's Yak-50, a 1976 aerobatic aeroplane!
