Hello all and long time no see. Had some login issues and got them fixed. Good to be back on this site .This is the awesome 1/32 Tamiya Mosquito. NOT a single issue and this kit falls together. I been plugging away on this for three- four week strait. Eagle Edition has some really great decals coming out soon. I will be paint mine in the block bottom gray/green scheme on top. Cockpit painted with Tamiya colors and Mig wash for weathering .

Cheers Brian

Like i said this kit just fall together. Might be doing this as a diorama. Pilots are from masterbox and Tilly truck from Tamiya. Landing gear dry fits like a dream .

Beauty !
I'm very interested in seeing what the completed radio fit looks like (not the 'Gee' indicator), as the later FB.VI had a different set-up to what we're used to seeing.
The set-up in your pics looks slightly odd, with the Gee RF unit at the right (correct), although perhaps further inboard than usual, but the R1155 Receiver on the rear shelf. When used with the T1154 Transmitter, the R1155 is normally mounted on the port wall, above the Gee indicator, so it will b e interesting to see what the Tamiya instructions advise.

This is the set up for the two RAF options. There is another different set up for the RAAF option .

Hm. In the reviews so far, I've seen the larger, T1154 Transmitter on the rear shelf, and the R1155 (which is on the rear shelf on your model) above the Gee indicator, which was the usual set-up on earlier RAF FB.VI aircraft. (The T1154 is the large, 'square' unit, with red, yellow an blue knobs on each side.)
The grey-fronted black box behind the pilot's seat on your model, is the R/F unit for the Gee indicator, so it appears that there is a radio receiver, but no transmitter in this set-up.
I only ask, as I'm considering maybe getting the kit, but need to know what I'f have to scratch-build to obtain the required radio fit, as later aircraft used the American SCR radio remote control, the main radio 'boxes' being buried in the mid fuselage.

I am going off what tamiya showed on the instruction for the RAF A B scheme option

OK, thanks Brian.
I need to look into this further, before committing to a purchase, as I'm dubious about some of the areas, and it's a lot of cash to fork out.
I think I'll probably just stay with my conversion of the old Revell B.IV kit, although I am still tempted ....

Decided to go with kit scheme on this build. Started paint the bottom painted with Tamiya paint thinned with lacquer thinner. More to still come folks

BTW.. it is better to upload pictured into our server than post hot links to them using the stinky photobucket hosting site. In the way you may avoid problems with displaying of them now and in the future.
