The Su-24 is the Soviet Union's answer to the F-111. They are similar in size and function and both swing wing designs. Having come into service several year after the F-111A (31 December 1971) and they are still in service making the new regularly now buzzing USN ships.

So what's in the box.
23 sprues,(10 are weapons), many of then duplicate's, pulse two clear sprues and a set of rubber tires and two fuselage half's. Two sheets of decals, one for the aircraft and one for the weapons. Two full color fold outs, one for weapons and one with two paint schemes for the aircraft and a 24 page set of instructions. As the Buc went nose down and I did do the F-111, I figured I would pitch on something non US and the counter of the Vark made sense.

Nice one Don, looks like an interesting kit, will she be laden with a selection of the weapons seeing as you have the decals for them!

Yes Vic, I have more weapons then a dozen of them can carry, but I really know little about them. I have been trying to get some real video but even YouTube is not helping much. Maybe it will come out as make believe but I figure to load her up. Not real happy withe the color I have for the interior. It's to grey and not enough blue.

I don't think the interior colour was more blue. It should be a little bit of blue-grey greenish tinge closer to the grey tone.

Model Master 2135 Interior blue/green.

or blue-grey one for newer planes ... or after overhauls

Yeah that's what I used but it looked to grey, I came back later and it was the right color. I worked on the seats. though they are placed in the cockpit they are not glued in as there is still more paint to be done on both.
