1/48 Tamiya FW190D-9 White 11 of IV/JG51

This one is finished. I spent the odd hour over the last week or so making a base that I wanted to have look like a makeshift airfield just after the snowmelt in March/April 1945. There will be a frame installed later but I won't do that until it warms up and I can get at my table saw in the garage.

I'm quite happy with the way it turned out though the finish, using Tamiya Flat Base in Future, was a bit to heavily wieghted toward the flat base as there is a slight dusty look to the model - more suitable to desert machines. I'd like to thank everyone who helped me with determining the colours for this machine and to all of you who provided comments and feedback.

Just read through the whole build. Great job. Great details. Great finish too.
