So i been inspiredby Luis's B-24 build i decided to start on the awesome Mitchell . So Here we go folks . I decided to build the hard nose eight 50 cal. First . One wing complete . I glued the engine pod on . Filed gaps with strips of plastic and Tamiya thin glue. Once sanded down and then small gaps filed with super glue . Once sanded I brushed on Tamiya surface primer to look for small flaws . Next to do the same on the other wing .

While dry fitting the nose to the airframe there was a step between nose and airframe. Easy fix i added a stripe of plastic between the left and right side and problem solved.

Nose gear cleaned up and ready for paint. Will need to figure out what weights to use. Love these old monogram kits

Decided to close the crew doors and bomb bay doors. You can tell they was meant to be only open. It took some work to get them closed

My dear Brian (FB friend), is a great project and work dedicated to the details, I am sure that will give you great satisfactions.
I loved how it looks on that front panel of instruments.
Your comment in the first sentence of this thread is flattering.
I will follow you, because it will be very useful and supportive when it comes time to make my B-25

Un abrazo fuerte

Interior Post shading complete. Time to paint basic black color on the boxes and time for gloss coat and wash. Stay tuned friends
