Did you find the clear plastic I tried (badly) to describe? It can be gently shaped with steam heat, and if you can break down the basic shapes into sub-assemblies I think it could be what you are looking for. If you need, I would be happy to send some. It might not get there in time for this build's end date, but you could call it done, then improve it later.

thanks for the offer,i do have some clear plastic to try with just not the time this week,i think your idea of breaking down the shape to get the finished piece is a good idea, hopefully i will get to do this during the coming week,i will post all results/attempts at this to try to find the easiest way to make the new part,fingers crossed
