Like the AM stuff Evan instead of filling spread it with a rod then lightly sand flat across the top for the mating surfaces

The AM part fits better than it may seem there, I didn't clamp or tape it together for the pics. Will take your advice into account though Kevin when it comes to buttoning up the fuse and adding the insert permanently.
