Ironic though, the "Three Lions" take that symbolism from Richard I who was progeny of William the Conqueror, a Norman. Ol' Bill used the 2 lion standard and his castle in Caen still remains.

That said, I'd like to see Belgium and Croatia... just to be different!

In the first half most of the counter attacks France made were started by Kante, if you look at the stats for interceptions, blocks and tackles Kante will be at the top, he always is, he was for Leicester and for Chelsea.

But if you look at the match, for 80% of the time all French players are at their own half. That's what I mean with all French players defending. It's boring but effective.

Belgium played like Arsenal, they had the ball and huffed and puffed without creating much, France had the better chances even in the first half.
