But I joined the fuselage halves together.....Tamiya's fit is SO good...

You will seriously see the difference in fit and quality of the Tamiya kit, the only thing I don't like about them is the 2 piece main canopy..

Isn't though! When I bought the P-51D I started test fitting the pieces and in ten minutes I had the whole thing together with out glue and it looked like it was ready for paint!

Meyer's Stang is getting decals. I have to paint and attatch the spinner, canopy, canopy rail, wheels, doors, tail wheel. Not much more. This 'Stang is looking sharp in all its decals.
