Three more new kits for this year from Airfix, all in 1/48th scale :-
Spitfire Mk.XVIII, £29, due Spring 2022.
Buccaneer S2 (RN markings, new tool), £72.49 (bit pricey), due Summer 2022.
Avro Anson Mk.1, £47, due Autumn 2022.
There's also a re-issue of the F-86 Sabre in this scale, as a USAF machine, and a Spifire F.22 and Meteor F.8 in 1/72nd scale.
The Buc and Anson, in particular, look rather nice.

Revell and ICM to name two companies dont seem to have prices of new kits so high or is it that Airfix know they'll sell very well and are looking to make few extra pounds !

If it goes together as well as it looks, then it'll possibly work out cheaper than the original kit, in terms of the cost of filler, replacing files, fines for swearing in public, hair loss, sedatives and therapy costs !!!!
