Thanks for the info. I've actually preordered it but the company I ordered it through didn't have any information about shipping date. Good luck with the postal strikes.Far as I know, Airfix have a North American distributor, so it should be available from US suppliers now, or very soon.
Alternatively, Hannant's in the UK ship worldwide, although I don't know their shipping rates (check their website).
However, if sent by Royal Mail, expect delays, as they are planning a series of strikes between October and Christmas, totaling 19 days over that time period.
I'm sure some of our American forum members can advise you on good supply outlets in the 'States.
Chief Master Sargent, I'm feeling your pain. But, I'm going to have to at least consider asking my kids to shell out for the holidays! A two piece ejection seat? I'm ready to pull the cord.NEWS — SEPTEMBER 29, 2022

A Singular Concept!
The most technologically advanced modern fighter on the planet is finally available in our legendary 1/48 Aircraft Series. Thanks to extensive research, the A variant of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II comes to modelers workbenches. The F-35 - variant A for the Air Force, B for the Marines and C for the Navy –developed under the Joint Strike Fighter Program (JSF) and is-seen as one of the fifth-generation fighters. These aircraft possess highly advanced stealth characteristics and network connectivity, plus superior situational awareness provided by numerous integrated sensors. The F-35 Lightning II was-first-delivered in 2015, and deployment of over 3,000 F-35s is-planned around the world. Inheriting the Lightning appellation from the famed P-38, the F-35 will lead worldwide air arms for years to come.

We like long stories about airplanes. Thanks for the info. I've got an Airfix Spitfire MkIX 1:24 on preorder and I've been like the little kid who looks for that letter from Grandma every day. So far…my mailboxis empty. . My wish list is getting larger, F14 (the interest in that aircraft is a long story), F18, Hurricane, and the list goes on…
Beware of what you wish! LolWe like long stories about airplanes.
But it's Not a "B"....................................Squadron has pre order at $78
But it would be easier for you to convert than your just building what you have, hum come to think of it you could build one from scratch (real one) easierBut it's Not a "B"....................................
and VMF-211 is Marine!
With or without engine sound a battle damage? You could wait for Lindberg to release one.
Lotsa room on the interior walls for scratch details that wouldn't be too difficult.
I have the P-43, niceWho would have thought we'd ever have seen any of these, and in 1/48, of all things?
