Those are SH-34 Sea Horses at the bow. We transitioned to SH-3A upon return.

That one looked promising....... maybe more than any other.
It is 21" long and $60AU which is doable, but got little room for it.
All the other Ticonderogas are half the size but straight WWII flight decks.
Wish I had the time for it........ Thanks for the heads-up!

Looks like that USS Ticonderoga kit is ex-Renwal. They had an identical kit of the USS Shangra-La; I guess y'all know why that ship had such a strange name.

I note that Ollies now has the Atlantic Models re-issue of the Revell 1/64 B-25B, in the Pacific Raiders box, for $12.99.
An interesting aspect of this model is that Revell produced a special production run of that kit, back in the mid-60's, I guess. The special production run differed from the standard ones in that the entire kit was chrome-plated and were given to the Doolittle Raiders at their annual convention.
You know, I have a Lindberg 1/64 Ju-88, so this presents some diorama possibilities.
